Carolyn Carper

Carolyn Carper
Vocational Counselor

What makes me get up and go to work in the morning is….
I like feeling challenged and figuring out ways to make things better.

The most inspirational person with a disability I have personally met is…
A person who taught me how much he can do.  He can sing beautifully, write eloquently, work harder and smarter than anyone, and always has a good time.

My proudest personal achievement is…
My children.

On whether I prefer the beach or the mountains…
The mountains…being born in West Virginia, I have had many “mountain top” experiences: camping, skiing and biking on trails!

The best insight I have gained form someone I have known personally who has a disability is…
Treat them as you would anyone else – they will ask for assistance if they need it.

Three words someone would use to describe me are….
Compassionate – organized – energetic
