Profile
Prior to joining The Choice Group in 2004, Chris was a Freelance Fine Artist and had graphic design experience in both financial and technical settings. He also had administrative experience in a supported employment program. He brought this experience and understanding with him when he became a Vocational Technician at The Choice Group, where he provided valuable assistance to the Vocational Counselors by training and assisting clients with online applications, job development in person and by telephone/Internet, creating and editing resumes and cover letters, and maintaining contacts with employers in the Richmond area. Chris has conducted focus groups with clients to obtain valuable feedback about improvements that can be made to The Choice Group’s services, and assists in a variety of administrative projects with creativity and upbeat humor. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he assumed more direct service responsibilities as a Program Support Specialist, providing job site training in the Medicaid Waiver program. Building on his fine art experience and education, he provides design assistance for both our website and our publications.
