Erica Johnson
Vocational Counselor

The most inspirational person with a disability I have met personally is…
A client who had no natural support system and who had been in a neglectful home environment.  After receiving services, this person began to open up to support staff, engage with peers, play basketball, finish school and start job training skills.

My proudest personal achievement is….
Being selected to do a training at the National Domestic Violence Conference.

I consider the day a success if…
My clients feel that I have helped them meet their initial goals.

The best insight I have gained from someone I have known personally who has a disability is…
That everything is a process.  No matter how long or how short the process, own it and welcome the results.

Three words someone would use to describe me are…
Funny – caring – helpful
