The most inspirational person with a disability I have known personally is…
My swimming instructor when I was growing up, who had one arm; he was a competitive swimmer and very successful.
My proudest personal achievement is…
That I have been successful living so far from friends and family.
As to whether I prefer the mountains or the beach…
The beach for sure. I think I used to be a dolphin in a past life. I love the calming nature of the ocean as well as its incredible power. It is a very interesting balance.
My first job was…
At a small pizza place. It taught me a lot about having a good work ethic and how to work with others.
I consider the day a success if…
Someone gets a job or even an interview.
The best insight I have gained from a person with a disability is…
Often it is those who don’t have it as easy who are able to push themselves to do great things.
