Kari Lillard
Vocational Counselor

The most inspirational person with a disability who I have known personally is…..
A client who was diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live.  She spent the next year and a half living life to its fullest.  Her last wish was to throw a party to raise money for the American Cancer Society – she ended up raising over $1,000!

My proudest personal accomplishment….
Graduating college in 3 years. , and volunteered over 2000 hours with a ministry for people with special needs.

The best insight I have gained from a person with a disability who I have known personally is…
That the correct term is disABILITY – anything is possible.

Three words people use to describe me are:
Creative – dependable – genuine

The most important thing I keep on my desk is…
Sticky notes.
