Nicole Jump
Vocational Counselor

The most inspirational person with a disability I have personally met is….
A young girl who I taught when I was a preschool teacher.  She had three of ten fingers and was an incredible artist.  She spent most of her free time drawing and painting at a level far beyond her age.

I consider the day a success if….
I feel I have done my best to achieve positive results in personal and professional life.

My first job was….
A Busser at a small family-owned Italian restaurant.  I learned to take pride in my work and the importance of teamwork.

The best insight I have gained from an individual with a disability I have known personally is….
To remain optimistic and be thankful for so many small joys in life that often go unnoticed.

Three words I use to describe myself are….
Warm….devoted….organized.

The most important thing I keep on my desk is….
A framed list of my current goals.  Seeing them in front of me each day keeps me focused and motivated.
