Robyn Fry
Waiver Manager

What makes me get up and go to work in the morning is…
I look forward to working with clients and staff.  I enjoy the problem-solving with staff and overcoming obstacles to allow clients successful job placement, training and retention.

How I feel about the work I do is…
I am very proud of the mission and results of The Choice Group.  I feel honored that clients place their trust in us.

My most inspirational client is…
One who reinvented self after being struck from behind in a cop car.  Proud, motivated, amazing individual.

My proudest professional achievement is…
The thank-you’s I get from clients and their families have always meant the most to me.  I also appreciate acknowledgement from peers and colleagues that I have known through the years.

My proudest personal achievement is…
When I moved away a few years ago, I had the opportunity to spend quality time with my family.

The best insight I have gained from a client is…
Self-determination – seeing the abilities not disabilities.

The toughest challenge I have faced is…
Watching direct service dollars disappear.  It’s hard to think about all the folks waiting for services.
