Shawn joined The Choice Group in 2010, bringing with him diverse experiences in the fields of volunteerism, human services, and food services. His community outreach has involved construction projects in Guatemala, local activism, and one-on-one mentoring within the disabled community. While interning in residential and educational settings, he taught positive behavior, social skills, and independent living skills. His positive attitude, dedication, and ambition inspire those around him to achieve their goals.

Shawn holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
